<VV> Input Shaft question (humor?) and advice

Hey, It's Nanook of NC aka HankiePoo aka Officer Donut and he
says he has a rustsy cruddy shaft the he's worried about using !!!
De rust it, check all the splines for end wear and or chips, gouges
chunks that may be missing and then polish it up with your flower
(crocus) cloth or steel wool. Lubricate it and shove it in !!! <GGG>
