I must sadly announce that I will sell my Corvair.
After thoughtful discussions with my wife Rose,
and in consideration of my 93rd birthday in June,
we have decided that I should sell my Corvair now,
while I am still in good health.
If anything should happen to me, I could not
leave my wife to try to maintain it, or try to sell it,
it would only add to her burdens.
The car is a '67 Monza 2 Dr, that was completely restored; -
engine, body, and suspension. In 1998,
the body was refinished in pearl white//gold, the interior was
upholstered in beige and blue vinyl. Wheels were
replaced with 14" steel chrome "American Racing"
wheels, together with steel belted radial tires.
Dual Mufflers were also installed.
Approx. Mileage when tires were replaced - 72,900
Approx. Mileage NOW- 76,400
In 2002 we replaced wheel cylinders, brake hoses,
push rod tube seals, oil pan gasket, brake hoses, etc.
I can truthfully say that of over 30 Corvairs I have
owned since the Fall of 1959, this one is, by far, the
one Corvair that has given me the LEAST trouble.
I will sell the car to the highest bidder Over $4950.
