Been reading some 25 year old issues of Chevroland Nues (anyone remember that
mag?). In the Sept 1980 issue is a short article on the L'Universelle Van.
It's amazing how FC it looked not to mention bits and pieces used on other
Chevs. Wonder if it's still alive somewhere?
In the Aug 1981 issue is a photo of a 3 cylinder Corvair engine tilted on
it's side on a stand. Caption reads "On display in the commercial tent (?) an
in line upright 3 cylinder engine made by sawing a Corvair engine in half"
Displayed by Daytona Airmotive of Ormond Beach Fla. Photo sent in by Ken Wilhite
of Circle City Corvairs. Any one know about this?
Finally in the May 1978 issue shows what appears to be two GM engineers
looking over a turbo Vair engine with an unusual square box on the manifold.
Caption asks what are they doing? Thoughts on this?
