I usually get one of the generic aluminum ones from a FLAPS, and mount it 
right in line, where you are talking about in the wheelwell, only takes a 
few minutes, just replace the rubber hose that is there.  Just select one 
of the appropriate fuel line size.  I have been a little skeptical about 
using  plastic ones or the glass ones in case a rock/road debris gets  up 
there and hits it.
