The accelerator pump in the bottom of a YH is prone to developing a 
small hole which will make a rich condition, usually noticed only at 
idle at first. This also happens on the other Carter carbs with the 
similar pump like my '84 Ford F-150.

Soaking the carb parts in a 5 gallon bucket of carb cleaner will remove 
all the paint!

YH's were factory gloss black. The Rochesters were not black. Tape over 
the chrome parts of the YH so they look good with the new paint.
