i did my 64 trunk with porch and deck enamel, letting it dry several days to a tough finish. then i went over it with the correct paint. it worked and looked very good and took much less spatter paint to cover it well. i will do the same to my lakewood when i get it back from bodyshop soon. regards tim colson
