Well Joe, after about 6 to 7 months at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, (site of Atomic Bomb Plant), I was mercifully sent back to my home town of New York, where I worked at the Brooklyn Docks, where we were refitting luxury Atlantic passenger ships, to be used as transport ships for the troops that were being sent to Europe for the war.
