The Brits put their refrigerators in the cellar to warm the whole house-only
problem is exhausting the smoke which occasionally escapes..

Not a good idea.  It would likely warm the beer which, unless you're
English, would be a bad thing!  In defense of the English and their Lucas
refrigerators, there's nothing like a hand-pulled ale at cellar temperature.
