They have a 12 year  old Marriot Hotel for $79 per night. The Hotel has 
much room for set  ups.
The autocross would be at the Marshalltown Kark track.

    I am going to Portland with my race car! I might  even opt for a mini 
convention if it was within the 2 weeks preceding the  National convention. And 
instead of a Kart track why not try for Gateway race  track?
