> Good Morning All

As a vairorg member, former Chairman and long time aquaintance of the Vairologist, I would like to congratulate him on his post below.

Smitty and I locked horns atleast once over the computer machine years ago. Once, when the computer ate the TCC newsletter, and neither editor Hank or assistant Danny could get one out, the decision was made not to have one. Smitty made his own hand written newsletter, and sent it out himself, half because he felt we let members down as a newsletter is part of what dues were paid for, and half I felt as derision on our use of those "computer machines".

Several times in conversation I believe (and my memory fails sometimes) Smitty said he would never own a computer.

Now I have it on good authority from better half Helen that Smitty enjoys at least the V V part of his computer. His advice and tech assistance has been helpful to many. And the fact that he is willing to wade through all the dookie every day and still make positive contributions on a daily basis is a real credit to him, and IFO appreciate what he does. And like many of us, I am sure if he didn't enjoy the forum, he would find something else to do with the time he spends with us.

Thanks again Smitty for being here and your contributions!!!!!

Regards
HANK
