You obviously haven't driven anything newer lately...like 80's even!

Charlie Friends runs a choptop LM  with puffed SBC and a Porsche 6 
speed.....in the 165mph class of the Silverstate....but when asked to allow pictures..." 
there's really not enough Vair left to be relevant", was his reply.

Most "FastVairs"  are not steetable......Kevin Willson's Vair is probably the 
fastest "all around"  streeter.....be at Lexington to find out....there will 
be plenty competing for just that "honor"  gggg

Warren / Chuck / Rob Fike / Ken H., etc. cars are all racers...and are "fast" 
 in their "Classes"...big difference...

My last "Gran Touring" [GTO]  car was an '87 Toyota Supra Turbo...Auto...with 
HKS  kit [ 340 hp vs 210 stock]

San Diego to Coos Bay  in 10:15........cruised at 130 all night long...in 
cruise control!  And got 24 mpg on pump 91...but could be driven most of the time 
on 87 [ just keep the boost under 10psi.........this car also did 0-60 in 4.9 
sec [ 6.8 stock] 13 sec. 1/4 [14.8 stock]  as I recall....has all the 
comforts....and only cost $22k new...$9k as a "theft recovery" [ upholstery / wheels 
]. Sold it for $3800 with 240k on the odo.! no repairs....just tires and 
brakes way too often! ggg

Speaking of GTO's.....anyone see the runoff between the old and new?.....'05

My FastVair??   a Crown kitted 65  ex turbo coupe..with NOS.....just so I can 
keep up with the kids in the straights!

Matt...older and slower....but never last....
