I haven't had any problems here, but it strikes me that, as someone else has
said, all you need to do to be totally safe is to upgrade to FC rims, which
are 14 inch. That way you can use 185/60 R 14s - and guess what the Mk 2 VW
Golf uses!! There are quite a few of those in Germany - and the odd Golf in
the USA as well, I think...
