Considering the mathematical computation of tires sizes, I thought I would add the caveat that the same given size of tire may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Hence, while the computation for, say, a 205/60x15 might yield (205x.6x2)/25.4 +15=24.685, the measured diameter will vary. My experience has certainly seen a quarter of an inch in variation.
