Hello all,

Installing my new top cylinders in my 64 convert.
Wish I'd taken a few digital photos in the
disassembly. I got the lines, pump, and cylinders
connected and the system filled. My question is on
the cylinder installation. I'm finding that the
passenger side "eye" on the cylinder rod goes outboard
of the frame and the driver side wants to go inboard.
This seems odd to me, but I can't figure any other way
it can go together. Is this correct? The cylinders
don't look like there is a right vs. left, and with
the line fittings, they can really only be installed
one way (line fittings facing to rear of car). The
reason I am wondering if something is up is that the
driver side "eye" is still about 1/4" away from the
frame and installing the bolt will be loading it a bit
towards the frame.

Thanks,
-John Headley
