Is there NO damage to the INTERIOR from the fire? REAR glass is good? If
there is forget it for any more than $300-500......except you're in the
rustbelt...which if a car has little / no rust THRU anywhere...which increases the
value..it may be worth it...
MY QUESTION TO YOU:
1 Have you ever driven a Corvair LM or a 66 or newer Porsche 911/12? [ be a
shame to spend time / $$$ only to find out you are not excited by the car!]
2 Do you FIRST want to enjoy driving one...or working on one....Summer will
come around fast!
3 I ask this because you say you restored many different cars [ as I recall]
Note: I know everyone doesn't live out west where cars are plentiful /
cheap.....time / weather is much kinder, etc...
I always say..get a good driver [ not show ] and a PROJECT..with
potential...drive the driver....and meet the people.....work on the project as your
interest increases...
Matt using 1969 # 5990 as a driver....stocker...slower than my other 2..but
just as much fun!
