<VV> monza gas gauge

..Hi,Sam--found the 65 spare dash; to check the gas gauge,unplug the 2 prong connector,apply 12 V to 'top' terminal (where black/pink wire goes), and ground the metal part of the dash..the stud next to the gauge connector will do--gauge should rise past full mark:: then, ground the lower terminal (tan wire that goes to tank sender),and the gauge will return to "E"...if yours doesn't work,i've got this one here,,,'''again,really appreciated you and Dave Ellis bringing Brian's Monza over this morn,saved me much time/trouble !!
