     Maybe you're a newbie at seeking help on e-mail forums, too. Let me
help you seek help. Even though you may have stated in earlier messages what
year and model Corvair you bought, not everyone who knows the answers to
your questions may remember what year and model. The answers to your
questions can vary according to this information and even, in some cases, to
your climate and altitude (which you can state as your location).
     The best jacking and lift points are described in the Shop Manual. This
being the case, it probably would also encourage list members to address
your questions if you mentioned that you had consulted the Shop Manual (most
list members don't care to act as a substitute for the Shop Manual) and
still had this or that question. If you don't have a Shop Manual, I'd
recommend that you get one immediately. It will help you seek help on the
forum.
