I always drive on the rev counter anyway, partly because i have driven a lot 
of mph cars in km/h countries and vice versa, and partly because rev 
counters tend to be more accurate, and so if you know the mph or km/h per 
1000 rpm figure of your car you have a *much* better take on its speed.

And the GPS thing I borrowed from a friend when I came to Hershey (and which 
incidentally I think gave Tony U a false impression of my material wealth, 
as it wasn't mine!) was very fun as well, and was switchable from mph to 
km/h. I think they are down to $200 or so in CompUSA now, and still falling, 
so it won't be too long before I can have one...
