Thanks to everyone who responded to my test post, I feel very welcomed. First question then: Can the sheetmetal forward of the cowl (I hesitate to say "firewall") be removed entirely to expose the subframe or is the trunk floor part of the unibody? It's been a while since I've seen any Corvair up close and I've never looked at this. -Dave
