Whoeee, what a difference tightening up the shift linkage makes. Put a brass
bush in the front of the shifter tube, and a plastic one in the rear
(coupler and pin looked fine). Nice and tight; real crisp shifting. Second
gear has some slight clashing, but that seems normal for any Saginaw I've
ever driven. Swaybar was replaced today (was missing) and tomorrow we'll
start on the O-rings and replace the ratty exhaust. Looking towards
completion shortly for a real nice car.
