<VV> Greenfire "Plugs" (No Corvair)

Joel,
Well, for one thing, these plugs are going to be COLD. With all that metal
surrounding the hidden tip, and therefore little heating from the combustion
chamber, that's inevitable. I can't imagine they won't foul immediately.
It appears to me that they are trying to ride on the press of precombustion
chamber (PCC) engines, which certainly do lower emissions. However, this is
done by running a very lean mixture ("lean burn"). The PCC is fed a rich
enough mixture to spark ignite reliably and the flame jet enters the main
chamber and fires the lean mixture. However, these guys don't have the same
thing, since they can't increase the mixture inside their plug. If you look
around on the link below, you'll see a video presention. Along with the
sales pitch, there is a supposed picture of the working plug. Clearly it is
faked. No amount imagining of it being in slow motion, etc. can make up for
the impression that it's taken in real time with propane or something being
pumped into the plug to sustain these flame jets.
