IF (and not that I am saying YOU should) I was doing it, I'd use the VIN 
off the car that I got the front subframe off of. After all, one would 
have to assume that that car would either be the one you bought the body 
for, and because you were scrapping out the rest of the body, OR that 
the one that donated the front subframe was already being scrapped. 
Either way, the VIN tag is easy to move, and, if the Camaro is like the 
Corvair, the VIN is already stamped on the front subframe anyway.
