<VV> Starting problem

Be sure to watch for a glow under your dash because it could also be a 
sticking contact in the ignition switch. I had one catch fire in my `68 
many years ago when the start position contacts stuck together and kept 
the starter spinning. nicely melted the connector on the back of the 
ignition switch.
