<VV> Cleaning vinyl interior

I am a big fan of Meguiar's car care products. Once had a '61 Pontiac
Bonneville that had been owned by a very heavy smoker for 100K miles and the
"tri-tone morrokide" pale blue vinyl interior was a rather greasy brown.
Worst I have ever seen. I used Mequiar's #40 which is the strongest of their
vinyl and rubber treatment products (the mildest in the red bottle has a phony
'odor' added to it I can't stand). Applied it liberally with a small kitchen
sponge and used a fingernail brush to agitate the 'smoke'. Worked one panel
at a time and did it just once. The interior came out looking NEW, I kid you
not and I sold the car a few months later based on the incredible interior!

Personal preference: I'm one of thousands who would NEVER use Armorall on
anything vinyl or rubber. First because of the silicones which will screw up
the next paint job. Second because vinyl/rubber become dependent on those
silicones and without contstant treatment the tires or weatherstrip or
interior panel with crack. I lost a NEW set of Michelins to Armorall having
the sidewalls crack within a year! like they dry rotted! That was 20 years
ago and never again!!

Hi everyone,
We have tried different products to try to get out some yellowing and
cigarette scorch off original white vinyl interior. Does anyone have any
suggestions for us.

Thanks in advance
