I sell parts on Ebay. I don't ask what the parts are going to be used for.
Nor should I.
Most of the parts I sell come off cars that were destined for the scrape yard.
I feel that I have given the corvair community an opportunity to buy parts that would otherwise be lost forever.
At Lexington I was told buy a man that I should only sell parts to corvair People
Ultra vans weren't built by Chevy maybe they shouldn't be allowed to by corvair engine parts
What about the military vechiles built with corvair engines
Boats
Airplanes powered by vair engines
In my opinion They all help keep corvairs alive In their own way
In my view hoarding is worse because it only helps a few.
If we want to protect the corvairs we need to get more people interested and making parts available readily & reasonably
When I came back into the corvair family after time away there was a man in my fathers club who gave me parts for my car because he thought it was important to have younger people involved (I was willing to pay)and interested in Vairs.
Some of my Ebay parts go cheap and thats ok.as long as the get used and not junked where no one can use them!!!
