<VV> windshield and interior car covers

Congratulations Phil, I am sure you will make an excellent
third caretaker of this beauty. I have often thought that the
"hot engine" problem of a car cover could be cured by a cover with
a engine flap cut out on three sides and secured by velcro zippers.
You would put the whole car cover on and leave the engine flap
undone until sufficient cooling  allowed for securing the flap. A local
upholstery shop could modify a standard Corvair cover.
