Good going so far, David!
The holes in the end of the heads receive sheet metal, muffler hangers, the 
oil cooler, and the ignition coil.  They all take bolts (watch the thread 
sizes, they aren't all the same) except for the ignition coil, which uses the stud.
Keep on askin' the easy questions!

Thanks to all who provided help with head nut torque
advice.
I do have a question that does not seem to be answered
by the assembly manual or the service manual:

There are 2 holes on the end of the block. Two one
each end. The front and rear shrouds fit to the holes.
On my heads the only top hole on the right hand head
has a stud in it and the rest of the holes are empty.

What fits into these holes? More studs or bolts?
