Hi Shaun.

Oops. Too late now. I spent yesterday reassembling both doors and I never
want to see the inside of a Corvair door again. :-). I'll add the springs to
the growing list of things on the "next phase"...

Just a question - why have a spring when you have the black rubber cushion
there? Also, does the large end of the spring go over the cushion?

They go over the inside door handle before the door panel goes on,  the
smaller end of the taper fits right over the mechanism, try it for size...
