Re-line the heater box with a different style insulation to keep the
fuzzies from blowing out the defroster. I thought mine looked fine but
after everything was back in I noticed that I continully have chunks of
"fuzz" on my dash. The other morning enough fuzz must have built up on
the resistor in the passenger side duct to be an issue as I was running
the fan and smoke started to roll out of the duct.

It scared the pants off me as I thought the wiring harness caught on
fire. I shut the car down, grabbed the extinguisher but it stopped
smoking as soon as I shut down.

Subject: <VV> Restoring 63 Vert

Can anyone tell me if I have overlooked the obvious? We're restoring a
63 vert and have the drive train out and the back of the car up on
jacks. My next venture is the rear suspension while the engine and
transaxle are being rebuilt. I will be tackling the brake system later.
What else can or should I do while the car while it is in this position?
Just to let everyone know the front wheels are double chalked and the
rear portion of the car is has two sets of jacks in position, so it is
safe to work on it.
