I invested in one of these:

mainly because most modern tire machines have a hard time with my 10" diameter Mini tires.

$69 (they have an $89 model that fits larger rims)

I anchored it down to my garage floor and immediately tore out the anchors. Return to Home Depot, but larger anchors and drill bit,  installed, and repeated. 
Currently sitting in the corner of my garage until I get around to actually pouring a pad for it with integrated anchors...
