<VV> electric fuel pump - inertia switch - diaphragm block

Folks
Has anyone tried the inertia switch that Ford used on its late 80's Crown 
Victoria /Grand Marquis?  It was attached to the trunk, which would help a 
Vair, and wired to the in tank pump. they are plentiful, inexpensive, and 
quite effective.
