Thanks, but no thanks. I want to screen the incoming
stuff, as I already edit what goes out.
Meanwhile, I refuse to use AOL anything. Upgrading my
service didn't save me from constantly being kicked
off the net, all the time, usually when I was on the
verge of completing something time-consuming and
important. I also had constant problems in other
areas, meaning I had to spend hours on the phone
chasing them for "service." Only after I changed to
MSN's server and called to cut off AOL did they offer
me a big discount to stay on, and then the hit me with
four phone calls and five letters IN A THREE WEEK
PERIOD to come back, half of that after I was put on
their "do not contact" list. I had to threaten to
travel to their location and beat the shit out of
someone on the supervisory level to get them to leave
me alone. So AOL is on the top of my Christmas card
list, along with State Farm Insurance and United
AIrines. I will save those stories for some other
time. Meanwhile, those three companies get all the bad
poop I can spread.
While I am here, I now have suggestions from about 10
guys offering screening tips. Thanks for now, and I'll
answer each as I get a little more time.
