Looks like it would work.   I've actually seen a variation on this theme on 
a Vair which also worked.  Odd appearing, but then again as the saying 
goes, if it's stupid but it works anyway, it ain't stupid.


I'd be more concerned about this particular car having had its whole nose 
replaced.
