Well Craig, my 140hp 65 Corsa vert should be back on the road this summer... only options 4 spd, pushbutton radio, and power top. The resto sheet also says "P51 Radial Tires" but I've been told that could be an error. It's hardly loaded up!

The tires have probably been replaced somewhere along the way but you're
right Dave, whitewalls would have been an option. The other items you mention
were all standard equipment in '67. Although this seems to be a zero option
car, I'm sure it's not the cheapest Corvair ever made. That honor would
probably go to an early early 500 with heater delete but I've never seen one; has
anyone?

Someone mentioned that it was refreshing to see a nice car that wasn't a
loaded-up Corsa or Sypder. I've had the same feeling about what we all see over
and over and that's why I specifically selected a Monza ('66) when I got
back into Corvairs. My second (who can have only one???) is also a Monza though
my third is the dreaded "loaded-up" Corsa. I can honestly say that my
favorite is the least likely candidate, the blue over white (with blue interior)
'67 Monza 140/4 four-door. Go figure!

<snip>Well, not really knowing lates, I would say that whitewall tires,
day/night mirror, outside mirror, back up lights and arm rests would be
options on a 500 model. Mark, what say you? How many did I get right?
ggggg Nice looking car though----for a late model (aftermarket
Corvair)<unsnip>
