I'm stumped & have to ask. What is that piece of trim seen on the rear
quarter panel shot, just rearward of the standard fender trim- like a
rock guard? Was this an optional piece? Aftermarket? It looks nice,
but I wish it showed the whole piece.

Hi Guys,

The 10,000 mile Monza did meet reserve in the first e-bay auction and
"sold" for $12,350! The car got 34 bids but the winning bidder,
"sungirl215", hadn't purchased anything on e-bay since 9/11/03. I guess
the deal fell through because it's back on e-bay in a three day auction
and has already reached over $4,500. The car is not white, it is Cameo
Beige with red and I think that color combination looks quite nice. I
have seen the car in the last year, I think at the annual Indy meet and
it is a "Senior Class" non-restored car. I spoke to the owner and he is
a nice guy. It is listed on e-bay by an employee of his (maybe he's not
computer literate). The radio delete is a little weird, but it is very,
very nice. Is it worth $12,000? Probably not to someone like me who just
bought a pretty nice 66 Monza for $2,500, but if you want an instant
show car for what is a drop in the bucket for most mid-60's Chevy's,
it's probably a pretty good deal!
