To provide a little balance...
 
My first Corvair was a new 64 Spyder vert, a great car!  Traded  it in for a 
new 66 turbo coupe, another great car which now has a Crown  conversion.
 
Owned a 69 427 Corvette, not a great car but pretty fast in a straight  line. 
 Currently have a new C6 Corvette which I would rate as an  outstanding car 
in all departments.
 
It is possible to be a Vair/Vette owner and be a fan of both.
 
Am I a jerk?  I don't think so, but who does.
