Not on my stuff.   Every Vair here that I own has that "fresh air" 
portal blocked off.   It's not like it blows "cool air" into the car 
anyway...  no matter what, hot air comes out of the vents in summertime.

Far as seats coming out, it seems to be a random thing with the stuff 
I've seen, no pattern at all.    They seem to come out of the middle 
holes as much as either of the ends.
