Number 5 cylinder on my 69 140 had a dropped seat in the exhaust valve. 
Didn't break up the seat, just used it to wallow out a nice bowl!! I have 
since removed the fresh air mixing duct and closed off the openings. Looks 
neater and it's easier to wipe the engine down.
