The thermistor is a 3/8 fine thread - I believe that is a 3/8"-24 -  
Absoluely the wrong thread to have into Aluminum, but that is the thermistor  that GM 
had on the shelf!
 
The Oil pressure sender is a 1/8 " NPT - (Tapered Pipe thread)
