I believe if'n y'all will check the paperwork that what Bendix patented 
was his torsional spring actuated drive -- the term Bendix just sort of 
stuck, even to the modern over running clutch, which although it is not 
servicable is a superior design. Just stop by your FLAPS and check out 
starters for a 60 Morris Minor <he he>.

If'n ya didn't pay crap for that air tool, maybe that isn't how it would 
perform. Good ones are not cheap. Besides, the torque wrench is the 
proper tool for tightening lug nuts -- tire shops in this part of the 
country ALWAYS check final torque with one.

Safety starts with the nut behind the wheel.

Rightousness comes from the heart, not from being pc.
