Funeral Mass for Paul M. Slovinsky Sr., 72, of Willoughby, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby.

Funeral Mass for Paul M. Slovinsky Sr., 72, of Willoughby, will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37932 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby.
Mr. Slovinsky died Dec. 7, 2005, at his residence in Willoughby.
Born June 7, 1933, in Sagamore, Pa., he had lived in Collinwood before moving to Lake County 33 years ago.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby. He was also a "mall walker," loved hollering at the kids, hanging out at his son's shop and enjoyed watching sports. He loved his Corvair and was a blood donor contributing 17 and half gallons to the American Red Cross.
Mr. Slovinsky was an employee of Tow Motor for more than 20 years, retiring in 1985. He was also a welder and worked on the assembly line.
Survivors are his children, Paul M. (Tina) Slovinsky Jr., Bernardo Slovinsky of Willoughby, Helen Slovinsky Jr. of Willoughby, George (Randy) Slovinsky of Eastlake, Rose (Bob) Novak of Eastlake and Steve Cawley of Mentor; grandchildren, Bernardo James Slovinsky, serving in the U.S. Navy; Angela Catherine Slovinsky, Nicholas Elliott Slovinsky, Paul M. Slovinsky III, Catherine Rose Novak, Aven (Gustavus) Harwell, and Jessica Cawley; siblings, John Slovinsky of Warren, Catherine Lewis, George Slovinsky of Ravenna, Joseph Slovinsky of Sagamore, Pa., Donald Slovinsky of Punxsutawney, Pa., Steve Slovinsky of Warren, Dave Slovinsky of Crickside, Pa., Mike Slovinsky of West Virginia, and Rita Juart of Plumville, Pa.
His wife, Helen (Villani) Slovinsky Sr.; sister, Lillian Krocata; and brother, Delmas Slovinsky, are deceased.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., in Willoughby. Burial will be in Willoughby Plains Road Cemetery.
