This is a LATE MODEL - type design introduced to the public on September 26,
1964 essentially the same time as the LM Corvair.  Either both GM and Nissan

  I asked a friend who reads Japanese to translate the caption under this 
picture. His reply:

caption says: "Modern designed Datsun Coupe 1500 (Later Sylvia - model 
name?) that was the most popular at the show."

no date that I could find.
