if you buy them from a junkyard car, they might not be round anymore, especially if the park brake has been applied for years or if the weight of the car has been sitting on the drums.   i bought a pair off of ebay for $30, but one was so distorted from years of sitting that it caused 1/2" of lateral runout measured at the wheel rim, and turning it on a brake lathe indexed on the pilot made some *very* thin areas in the braking surface due to the out-of-round condition caused again by years of sitting either carrying the weight of the car or having the park brake applied.
