Ron,
	The theory was stated that as white doesn't absorb radiated heat as
quickly as black does for example, then any little bit of help that the oil
could get to not get any hotter than it gets from the engine itself, would
be helpful.  Furthermore, why take a chance as it was easy and helped peace
of mind?  IF one examines the tube placement in an air stream, with or
without shrouds, we see the air is constantly flowing over the tubes and
white is not much better than galvanized steel or whatever that coating is.

Probably doesn't help much but doesn't hurt either.
