Yes - driving it up to 450F and cooling it down to 200 - 250F four or five 
times in a row sounds like an OPEN INVITATION to a dropped valve seat. 
Maybe not that day, week, or month.  But, not too far down the road...

Heat cycles my man - how many and how intense!

Attachments (if any) are scanned with anti-virus software.
