I think this group is like GroupRed, once you belong you never leave! With
that and David's 18 year status you are appointed President of NNDV (Newbie
Non Driver Vairs). Your only duty is to provide support for other NND's.
Congratulations David!

NNDV is a not for profit, non discriminating group whose sole function is to
recognize fellow new non driver vair owners. No need to fill out an
application for membership just simply announce on VV that you are a member
and start receiving your benefits today. There are NO DUES but we gladly
accept financial or other assistance in an effort to put another vair on the
road and do away with Newbie Non Drivers. Ultra and New parts are accepted
on an as need basis. NNDV supports all venders. All members of NNDV will
gladly accept rides in any Vair (running or not). I will gladly send (at
1/2 cost for e-mail or full cost for snail mail) your newsletter next
Tuesday (GGG).

Hey Norm, you out there? Here is an update for GroupRed. GGG

Hi, I'm David Macdonald and I'm an Ex Newbie Non
Driver.

-Got my '65 Corsa on Aug 4, 1986.
-Towed it from Kingston, Ontario to Toronto, Ontario.
-Engine was torn down in 1974 by PO
-Kept it stashed in various garages for years.
-Had it shipped to Massachusetts when I moved here in
'98
-Decided in earnest to get it running in early '04.
-Goal was to drive it by my 46th birthday on Sept 10
and make it to the Clark's show.
-Joined this list, joined Corsa, got tons of free
advice. Awesome!!
-Had a machine shop do the heads and press the rod
pins.
-Did everything else myself.
-Drove it (the first Corvair I have ever driven) for
the first time Sept 22nd, 2004. (Missed my goal by 12
days)

-I was a Newbie Non Driver for 18 years.
