<VV> RE: 1st Convention attended

I'm a fairly new member of CORSA, joined in 2000. My first convention was  
2003 in Carlisle, my car ate a couple rod bearing and therefore could not  
participate. I had a great time because of the CORSA people, rode in the rally  
with none other than Larry Claypool, rode in the econo-run with Doug Macintosh  
and won a trophy. To top it off, Doug also let me drive his car in the  
autocross! All of this based on him knowing me from VV. What more can I say  about 
that?
My second convention was 2004 in Lexington, sort of. I hit a deer on the  way 
to the convention and didn't make it.
 
This year I'm going to try the mini in Iowa. If my car breaks on the way,  
maybe the repair will also be a mini <G>.
