Copper head gaskets available in .032, .042, .052 and perhaps others.
Usually used to adjust Comp. ratio after head work.

Getting all the information is most of the solution.

It's been 20 years since I last did a complete rebuild, but back then
the 
copper gaskets were for use between the crankcase and the BASE of the
cylinder.  
They were not head gaskets.
