<VV> Radio question

Hello all,

Just cleaning up the wiring harnesses etc for reinstallation to my Group 
Red '65 Corsa cvt. I took a look at the radio (pushbutton AM) and see 
that there is a flat 3-wire harness leading out from behind the tuning 
knob. It's about a foot long and terminates in a tiny 3-pin card edge 
connector. It looks like a factory item. Any idea what this is for & 
what it might hook up to?
