<VV> Plastic container shown in one of my pictures...

Hi,

I've had a number of questions regarding the plastic container shown here:

The container appears to be a trash receptacle designed to hook over the
control cable for the front fresh air vents in a Corvair.  I suspect that it
was some aftermarket thing designed in the 60's but quite frankly, I don't
have a clue. I was hoping that someone in the group would recognize it.
